Press Release
On Sunday 18th February, EMG Vice President of Marketing, Jack Nau (pictured on right),
suffered a fatal heart attack while playing live onstage with his son's
band. At the age of 56, the musician and father of three continued to
champion the instrument he was so passionate about, something he passed
on to his children.
A man who always offered encouragement to any up and coming bands he met, talked to and constantly hung out with, Nau will be remembered by scores of musicians he mentored in their formative years when chart success still eluded them. Jack is survived by sons Sebastian and Marshall, daughter Alison, Karen, the mother of his three children; along with his own mother, Lois Gylock.
Said EMG President, Rob Turner, "Jack brought a lot of personality to this company and he will be sorely missed by the many people he came into contact with during the 10 years he spent at EMG. Naturally, I'm hugely saddened by this turn of events and at this time my thoughts and those of the other members of staff are with his family."
