Press Release
STAIND frontman AARON LEWIS hits the road again to resume his highly successful, solo-acoustic tour "Have Guitar, Will Travel," March 1 through April 4, allowing fans to experience the iconic singer/songwriter in an intimate, one-of-a-kind setting.
Armed solely with guitar, Lewis will perform Staind hits along with his favorite obscure cover tunes, while also taking special requests directly from his audience. The highly dynamic performer also enjoys customizing his set on the spot, ensuring that every show is fresh and spontaneous. Lewis, who is widely recognized as one of the most prolific and relevant artists of his era, first captivated a generation with his solid MTV Unplugged performance nearly a decade ago. He brings simplicity and the great craft of his songwriting back to the forefront of rock, as he continues to sell out venues across the nation - with just his guitar and songs.
Flip/Atlantic Records has just released Staind's first-ever hits collection entitled The Singles: 1996-2006, along with the simultaneous release of a separate companion DVD, Staind: the Videos. The 16-track recording features such #1 rock radio staples as "It's Been Awhile," "For You," "So Far Away," and "Right Here," along with never-before released live acoustic cover versions of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," Tool's "Sober," Alice In Chains' "Nutshell," and a live, acoustic version of "Everything Changes." The version of "Outside" appearing on the album is also the same original cut that was included on the Family Values Tour 1999 with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst.
To date, Staind has sold more than 15 million records worldwide, with its last three albums entering the Billboard 200 in the #1 spot. 2005's Chapter V has been certified RIAA platinum and features the single "Right Here," which marked the group's fourth #1 rock radio track.
Still living in Western Massachusetts where he grew up, Lewis has not forgotten his roots. He recently returned to his hometown of Longmeadow, MA and donated his time for a special benefit concert with all proceeds going directly to the school's art and music programs. Lewis remains an extreme guitar aficionado, with a prized collection of vintage Gibson Les Paul guitars. He is a loyal Gibson player, with a continuously expanding collection.

They won't help you when you're down
Love's on your list of things to do
To bring your good luck back to you
And if you think that everything's unfair
Would you care if you're the last one standing there

The pink inside of the ears are simply felt (same as for the black lips). Inside, I still added a stripe of long, white fur, to make it look more natural.
