On November 5th, Link Wray died at his home in Copenhagen Denmark. He was 76 years old. His legacy includes pioneering the punk guitar and rock styles and virtually inventing fuzz tones from punching holes in his amps. According to Pete Townsend, Link was the inspiration for playing guitar and totally shaped his sound.
Link's timeless music has been used by Hollywood in films such as Pulp Fiction, Desperado, Road Racers,Independence Day, Confessions of A Dangerous Mind, Breathless,12 Monkey’s & Blow.
